Why are the “many others” not named as contributors? how hard is it, really, to give credit to everyone that contributed?

Anyone who helps and wishes to be on the contributors list is perfectly welcome to be included on the list, but summaries are written anonymously so it’s up to the person doing the work to add themselves to the list of contributors, some folks choose not to do this.
There are also many folks throughout the community who do small things to help the newsletter, by sending their meeting minutes to the -news-team list, dropping by to give us links. They are also welcome to add their name but again, many don’t.
