As the terms of 3 out of 5 IRC Council members ending and one member is stepping down, the Ubuntu Community Council feel it’s best to re-elect the whole IRC Council.
To that end, nominations for places on the Ubuntu IRC Council are now being taken.
If you are interested in the Ubuntu IRC community, feel you have a lot give to it and can help to improve it, please review the Leadership Code of Conduct and update your personal wiki page with:
- your ideas how to resolve what you feel are the most pressing
- endorsements and comments from your peers
issues highlighted in the recent IRC team survey (download here)
Please also send a mail with your nomination to the IRC Council at the address Irc-council at lists.ubuntu.com
The Ubuntu IRC community is one of the pillars of the wider Ubuntu community. Everybody benefits from the IRC team’s hard work every day, so it’s important that this community is productive, happy and continues to thrive.
We look forward to seeing your nominations!
Jussi Schultink
Ubuntu IRC Council Chairman.
